Constant Season came to life in the cold winter months of 2006 when the five-piece from Calgary began playing together, simply for their love of music. Realizing their potential together, they hit the ground running in Calgary’s local music scene in July of 2007 with a win at Cowboy’s Battle of the Bands; their first show ever together. Playing the local scene for the last few years, Constant Season has developed a reputable name for themselves around Calgary by playing countless shows around the city and their song, ‘The Star and the Lover,’ was number 3 on local radio station Fuel 90.3’s songs of the year countdown in 2008. Earlier in April of this year, the band released their first E.P., an independent release entitled, ‘Midnight Lines’, to a sold out crowd of 350 people at The Gateway in Calgary. Fresh off headlining the CJAY92 Stage at Virgin Festival Calgary and playing alongside the likes of Pearl Jam, Winterlseep, The Arkells, Thunderheist and Mother Mother, the guys can’t wait to see what the future brings.
