BIOGRAPHY

Consumed by Fire is a 4-Piece nationally touring Christ based rock band from Wagoner, Oklahoma. They have been going at it full-time since May of 2006. They have already gained attention from some of the biggest pros in the industry. In Late October of 2008, the band recorded the single that would give them the most attention to date, this song was none other than, "I'm Sorry". This athemic rock ballad was recorded with Emmy Award Winning Producer, Jason Elgin (Collective Soul, Lynam, Creed, Maylene & The Sons of Disaster).

"I'm Sorry" was soon circulated into the hands of various industry icons. One of whom was GMA Hall of Fame Producer, Lari Goss. Lari and others, wasted no time getting Consumed by Fire into the studio to produce two of the band's newest songs at the time (Pack Your Bags & Strange Woman). These songs teamed up with the band's already stellar single, would bring 3 dynamic songs to the table that were to be used as the band's "calling card" to the world.

As most know, three out of the four members in the band, are brothers. Josh Ward is the eldest of the three brothers, and the eldest of the band as a whole at the ripe age of 24. Next is the young drum prodigy, Jordan Ward, who is right in the middle, at 20 years of age. Last, but most certainly not the least in the line of brothers is, Caleb Ward, who believe it or not, is only 16 years old. These three brothers have been raised in the ministry their entire lives, as their parents have been pasturing and pioneering churches all over the United States for nearly 25 years. Hence, comes forth their Christian background in their music and artistry.

Make no mistake, this is a band who wants their songs to be taken into both the Christian and Secular arenas alike. "We write songs that deal with REAL LIFE, so in return you get REAL LIFE TOPICS. The difference between our songs that deal with real life issues, and other songs on the TOP 40 charts that do the same, is that we know that the only way to get out of a real life struggle is through a real relationship with Jesus Christ. Consumed by Fire has received much acclaim for their hearts being noticeably inhabited with a love for people, ministry, and their Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. If you spend less than a minute in their company, you know instantly what these guys are about. Some are saying, "Give it 3 months and Consumed by Fire could easily become one of the biggest bands in the nation." Others who surround the band are telling them to be patient, develop your craft even more, and let's see if you don't become a worldwide phenomenon.
