..This is a fan page, and not an official consumed site..... Consumed were a 4 piece punk-rock band from the outskirts of Nottingham, England. Primarily consisting of brothers Steve and Mike Ford who provided the songwriting, vocals and guitars. They were signed to Fat Wreck Chords then moved to Golf shortly before the release of their final album Pistols At Dawn... Consumed formed in 1994, The bands hit all corners of the british isles playing with the likes of NOFX, Snuff, Shelter, SFA, Leatherface, China Drum, and more... They have also been a regular on the skate/surf/snowboard festival circuit, playing the 97 & 98 Newquay surf festivals, the 95 & 96 u.k. snowboard festivals, and the nottingham skate festival in 97... A tape of the band made its way stateside to FAT in Jan of 98 (via the fine folks in snuff). All but immediately FAT wanted to sign them. They released consumeds debut cd/10, a six-song release titled breakfast at pappas... Breakfast at pappas has been a hit with the kids from day one. one song off of it got put on a free sampler that got put in all the mailorders. as a result, FAT got tons of letters and e-mails from the kids with praise for the bands unique blend of british punk rock... Consumed went into the studio this past summer to record their first full length, hit for six, with the same mastermind that recorded and mixed breakfast at pappas, andy sneap. Out november 2nd, hit for six has all the power and genius illustrated by breakfast at pappas only theres more of it!..
