Contacto en Francia es el espacio de Fernando Astone, músico multinstrumentista y productor.
A mediados del 2008 se edita el primer álbum, el homónimo CONTACTO EN FRANCIA, un disco flotante, plagado de down tempos y paisajes,
que tuvo excelentes críticas de parte de la prensa especializada ( ver blog de prensa), donde Fernando se ocupo del 90 % de los instrumentos y conto con algunos músicos invitados.
En el transcurso del 2008 el sello español Bonvivant records, edita la canción NADAR dentro del compilado HERE COMES THE POP NATION VOL. III, donde CONTACTO EN FRANCIA abre dicho álbum y participa con destacadas bandas de U.K, España, Alemania, Suecia, Nueva Zelanda, U.S.A., Indonesia, Portugal e Italia.
Durante los últimos meses del 2008 se graba el simple Carrera de Nubes, esta vez, con la banda tocando en vivo dentro del estudio. El simple contiene dos canciones nuevas, Hangar y Luna, con un sonido mas eléctrico y urgente, una versión de 2719 ( incluído en Contacto en Francia) y el video clip de NADAR. Carrera de Nubes se edita en junio del 2009 a traves del sello propio Jude Records.
CONTACTO EN FRANCIA es convocada a recibir el premio POP- EYE, a la música y creación independiente como revelación americana 2008-2009. La gala se realiza en la ciudad de Cáceres, España.
Actualmente la banda continua realizando conciertos y preparando su segundo álbum a editarse a mediados del 2010. La banda en vivo esta integrada por: Fernando Astone: voz y guitarra. Ulises Ursini: bajo y coros. Luis Mendoza Diaz: guitarra. Pili: bateria, mas una sección de vientos.
