THE 3AM CONTEXT HAVE SPLIT UP. THE 3AM CONTEXT
Formed in May 2008, The 3am Context feature current and ex members of The Nurse Who Loved Me, Get Girl, Save The World! & Deferred Success, the band had several jam sessions throughout the summer, bouncing ideas around and finding their distinct sound.
Piecing together big guitar riffs blended with lush effects, driving bass fuzz and pounding drums, the guys started to create what would become their debut EP. Deciding to add synth, samples and an electronic kit to the mix has expanded the band’s constantly developing sound and is starting to win them over many fans.
Currently promoting their debut EP, titled ‘Buildings Burn’, the band are booking up gigs for the whole of 2009, as well as starting work on what will become their debut album. All releases are through Big Meat Records.
"Straightforward, melodic alt rock edge that sets the 3am Context apart" Noisy Fanzine, November 2008
"Bringing back what is quite simply britpop at its best!! Piecing together big guitar riffs blended with lush effects, driving bass fuzz and pounding drums." JJ, JJ Promotions Blog Band Of The Week, Feb 2009.
