CONTINUAL DRIFT is a rock band formed in 2002 by Michele Ponti and Edoardo Besozzi, fourteen years old at that time. At first the band began as a small school project. Francesco Gazzi officially joined the band in 2006 as drummer. CONTINUAL DRIFT started composing brand new songs, consequently the band began performing more and more frequently in the clubs and festivals of northern Italy. Between 2008 and 2009 they released and published online two EP: "Memories and Fights" and "Something is Changing", getting over half a million views on their Myspace profile and that's why the band was ranked 1st on MySpace's Italian Rock Chart. In 2010 Manuel Bazzoni officially joined the band as bass player. While mainly a rock band, the group has also experimented with various musical styles such as pop-rock, post-grunge and alternative-rock, aside their hard-rock base. Currently the band has just released their debut album called "Reality", recorded at Greenriver Studio (Cavaria, VA, Italy) produced by Tancredi Barbuscia & CONTINUAL DRIFT, promoted by Valery Records and distribuited by Edel/Frontiers. -
