Controversy has been writing poetry from the age of eleven and this naturally progressed into rap.
He was battling at Brockwell Park at the Westwood battle rap competition the day TIM WESTWOOD was shot and through the battles he won he earned a name for himself on the underground circuit.
Since then he has had a strong following but have had to stop due to personal obligations but now hes back now and itching to show what hes capable of.
His goal is to put his skills on the forefront of hip-hop so he can show the true extent of his wordplay.
He has performed throughout the UK and U.S.A including places like SOUL CAFÉ in NEW YORK where he performed infront of TYSON BECKFORD.
Whilst in New York he met and hung out with REDMAN who gave him all the advice he'll ever need on this industry.
He has opened shows for the ROCCAFELLA CAMP in 2004 that included the artists CAMRON, DIPSET, NICOLE RAY, and DAMON DASH.
