ANYONE who gets out and SUPPORTS, ENCOURAGES, AND SERVESthe community, the local music/art scene, and those who have been marginalized by society.
About me: We're building a non-profit venue for COMMUNITY, MUSIC, ART, and CARING for the neighborhoods surrounding the PLAZA DISTRICT! You are invited to join us for any of our music venue shows, art shows, or community based projects. We not only put on these projects . . . we're encouraging you to THINK BIG and CARE FOR SOMEONE!
We'll be glad to provide resources, project management, location/space, and promotion of your BIG IDEAS. So . . . *What are you dreaming up? *What art/music/film/literature do you want to expose to others? *Who has a need you would like to serve? *What are you doing about it?? What are you waiting on? WE'RE HERE TO HELP!
Check out what some have said about our music venue:
"The vibe is warm and real, as are the people- the sound is dope... Too cool." -- Jim Bianco
"Convergence has a very benevolent, clean, and open kind of atmosphere. The kind that makes you feel very mellow and laid-back, forgetting any of your worries and letting go to immerse yourself in a nonchalant, cool, accepting atmosphere." --Stefan (Peachcake)
"Convergence is a full service venue. promotion, production, you name it. They'll even give you a ride to a hotel after the axle breaks on your uhaul trailer. Four stars." -- Chris Staples of twothirtyeight & Discover America
"Good people. Good sound. I'm down with convergence!" -- Bradley Hathaway
"We thought it was a ghost town when we first rode in, but we were pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed our show. Great sound guy and really nice people work here. We're definitely coming back." -- Kevin (Get Back Loretta)
"It's a very fun venue with a lot of great art and an obvious desire to pour into the community around them. I think that's imperative for a venue to survive." -- Kat Jones (Velvet Blue Music)
"The professionalism and kindness of the staff, as well as the warmth of the crowd made Convergence in OKC one of our favorite stops on our last tour." -- Quiet Company (Northern Records)
