About me:
Convergence is an underground techno/house/minimal/electro/downtempo/experimental dance music night that started as a monthly at the Dinkytowner in September of 2004. It moved on to once every other month at Foundation's deep lounge, a stint at The Shinto Lounge at Temple, select dates at Envy Nightclub and the Loft above BarFly, The First Ave VIP Room, Tuesdays at The Caterpillar Lounge, and Tuesays at Nick and Eddie. Convergence finds a new home in Spain, with events in Valencia at Mogambo Club hosted by Javi (Squid) and Iker, and figurehead Jon Hester taking the helm in Barcelona.
It's all about creative underground dance music for mature people who want to get down and cut loose. Work on display from local artists compliments the music.
