    <b>1-8 October 2011</b> THE COOISH is a celebration of Gaelic language, music and identity organised by Yn Cheshaght Ghailckagh (the Manx Language Society), with support from the Manx Heritage Foundation and local businesses. Taking place over a week in the Autumn, the festival is an eclectic mix of concerts, school workshops, lectures, music and language sessions. The festival is for everybody interested in Manx culture – whether you know any Manx or not, we'd love to see you throughout the week. The programme for 2011 is currently being planned. The 2010 festival involved a mixture of learners' events and visiting speakers and musicians.
