NonFiction I read a lot of nonfiction for fun and for research. What kind of books? Anything about ancient history and not so ancient history, archaeology... Maps of The Ancient Sea Kings by Charles Hapgood, Table of Nations by Bill Cooper, anything by Thor Heyerdale, Books about people like the scientist Nikola Tesla... like a mouse I'm very inquisitive about a lot of things, but cautious of what I get myself into.

Watched you online recently in 10 Ball Ring Game Tournament broadcast by TAR - The Action Report. If we are ever able to get back into the game (health and finances willing) we are looking forward to seeing you again. Been cheering you on for your commnets on how pool has changed over the decades. In a number of online interview broadcasts we have heard you say about the game of 9 ball, how the best pool game has been taken and turned into a "Break Contest" AGREED! I greatly miss old school 9 ball house rules. 9 ball was simply a game of skill and artistry back then. You had to read the table. You had to play the out or your opponent the other player would. You only played safes when you absolutely had to because if the safe didn't work chances were the other player would play the rails and... All ball fouls spot, cue behind the line. MISS THOSE DAYS!
AND! The Hero, Person I most want to be like... my Grandma Ruth, the best lady I've ever known, she was gentle as a lamb and as wise as a serpent. A true lady steadfast and strong in her faith, her integrity and limitless ability to be compassionate in a insane world that for the most part considers all of those qualities to be weaknesses she proved them strengths and refused to be compromised from that stance

Back in the late 80's, I wanted to be the best Nine-Ball player in the world. Hoping to one-day play on the Pro Tour, I practiced daily. At the time, I was the only female player in town. During the first few years of my "training," there appeared on the scene, a kid who went to the local college; who played me every chance he got. He was a "want-to-be" hustler, whose goal in life seemed to be the desire to beat me. So far, he never had. Of course, the day finally came that he did.
At first I was winning, like always. Then, we changed the game. I was up and he started to talk about quitting, unless I was willing to play "his" game. Greed and pride triumphed, so I agreed, breaking my own rules about changing a game. The end result; he walked out of the poolroom with my car payment. That was the proverbial straw. My personal life had taken a turn for the worse that month, and here I was playing stupid on the table. You never play the other guy's game. Always play your own. Hello again! I know what you mean, its hard fitting pool time in with everything else. I was playing all the time but then when I moved up here by work I am in new territory and dont know too many pool players up here, so it makes it harder to stay in stroke, because I cant shoot solo for longer than ten minutes without getting bored!
If you end up going to SBE2 let me know. :) I am definitely going because it is literally ten minutes from my apartment.
