Hi, I'm a musician (keyboards) and work since the mid-seventies with various bands on stage and in the studio. Since 1997 the "CoolCatProduction" is my base , a recording studio by musicians for musicians. The studio offers analog & digital technology for CD productions, projects and demos of all kinds

In 1978 I started together with other musicians from germany and ghana one of the first "white" reggae bands in germany called "The Ganja Reggae Band". Since that time I was influenced by african and caribbean music. In 1979 I also made my first experiences in a recording studio. In the beginning of the eighties I toured with a dutch reggae band called "Heartbeat" and supported german bands like "The Riders" or "Windy Music" playing punk, wave or rock music.

Together with some of the old "Ganja Reggae Band" musicians I founded 1988 the group "Chico & The Different Style". My work with the live bands was accompanied with studio work for artists such as Jah B or Errol Johnson of Jamaica. At this time i started concentrating on sound recording and audio engineering. Also a great reggae project: "The Petticoat Government"!

In the middle of the nineties I played with the african band "Kan Tin Ka" traditional african rhythm and grooving reggae.

Since 2000 I play together with the band "African Roots", a black group from ghana, playing not only african music like highlife, kwalogo, afrojazz like Fela Kuti or socca music, but also reggae hits by Alpha Blondy, Marley or other musicians.
