I love to dance it has become one of my new favorite things to do. But I am talking like show dancing the 80's glam dance, I'm learning the two step (cuz its funny), spazcore, you know all the hits. But I really want to learn to swing, salsa, ballroom, tango all that stuff it is so neat to me. I like playing my guitar when I get inspired write songs as well. I love riding my bike and meeting new people. I love swimming, listening to music, reading books about God so I can work on understanding him in some way or another. I like doing merch designs for bands, or for myself though I will most likely never have enough money to actually print any of my stuff.

Coolfield was born in June of 2005 in the heart of a boy from Rancho Cordova, CA. The name comes from a joke between him and a best friend, it is a mixture of their last names COOLey and chatFIELD. That is why "Coolfield = Best Friends Forever". I like to have fun with the music I write, it touches my heart, it makes me happy, it gives me hope.
I am incredibly excited about the new direction Coolfield is taking, namingly, adding digital beats and instruments. I am working on putting together a 6 song EP entitled "the Polaroid EP." The goal is recording in January 2008 so be looking out for that business TO DROP!
I write the kind of music that I would like to listen to. If a song doesn't move me to joy, hope, love it is not worth writing. I just hope you love it as much as I do.

bryce your the one who showed me Hazel and Vine back in the day so i figured id ask you. Do you know of any other bands with songs that contain the same subject matter as Fly by Kite? Im trying to get a collection of songs with cute love themes. Even some of yours. Suggestions?
thanks. i just started writing my own songs like 6 months ago...i haven't played any shows or anything yet. but i'm trying to record a few more songs a release a demo. we should try to set something up in the future.

Haha no problem. It's alright.. although my nightly walks have diminished since the heat wave @_@.. I'm stuck inside.. so now I'm looking for a new book to read (preferably one about vampires). In any case.. how are you? (p.s. I MIGHT be able to make it to your show.. my schedule is starting to get crazy)
