About me:

Born and raised in Sioux Falls, I spent time in Omaha for undergrad and Minnesota for grad school. In Mankato I received a masters in industrial/organizational psychology before joining an HR consulting firm (Kenexa) in the Twin Cities. After an incredible two years there my wife and I have now moved back to Sioux Falls. Since 1999 most of my summers have consisted of show skiing with the Catfish Bay Water Ski Team. I also spent three years directing a water ski summer camp so it's easy to see that water sports are a big love of mine. Snow holds a couple of my other passions with skiing and snowboarding. You'll often find me playing some drums. Guitar Hero, Rock Band, and poker are some of my other poisons. I'm also a movie buff, pool player, golfer, and still have a passion for soccer. You might even find me plucking away on the acoustic from time to time.

Who I'd like to meet:

I say whatever you do, do it with heart and put your everything into it. Why do something if you're not giving 100%? You'll always have time to kick back and relax.

Interests

  • General

    Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Drumming, Poker, Billiards, Golf, Wakeboarding, Water Skiing, Barefooting, Snowboarding, Snow Skiing, Skydiving, Soccer.

  • Music

    Basically rock or anything with good drums behind it (Daughtry, Nickelback, Foo Fighters, etc.). Top 40, pop country, 80s hair bands, and most anything on the radio works.

  • Movies

    Impossible to pick.

  • Television

    Family Guy, Hell's Kitchen, Intervention, Locked Up Abroad, and probably anything on A&E or History now (you don't have to say it)

  • Books

    Mostly stick with the professional ones...anything on leadership, business, HR, management consulting, or I/O psychology. Gotta keep that professional edge!
