Napoli, citta’ d’arte, citta di musica, citta di sapori, profumi e surreali sensazioni.
Amore, odio, violenza, ricchezza, estrema poverta’, una metropoli in cui il tutto e il niente confluiscono l’ uno nell’ altro, dando vita ad uno schema astratto e refrigerante, comprensibile solo da chi vive con passione la citta’ piu’ assurda del mondo.
Quest’ introduzione, e’ poco comprensibile,come Napoli da queste parti non bisogna farsi troppe domande, di sicuro riceverai poche risposte; ma se hai idee e vuoi metterle in pratica in modo autonomo hai campo e spazio a disposizione.
Su questi presupposti si basa COOLING ART che nasce nel 2005, dall’ esigenza del progetto URGEN GROUP di creare una serata infrasettimanale libera dai meccanismi che muovono il settore Undergound partenopeo. Arte, musica live, dj-set, installazioni video, moda, degustazioni, tutto e niente confluisce in uno spazio libero e indipendente dove ognuno e’ parte integrante di quel che vive.
Fin dalla sua nascita l’ edizione invernale di COOLING ART e’ stata prodotta ogni mercoledì al Mutiny Republic e di giovedì al Rising, il primo anno con lo pseudonimo di ABNORMAL PARTY, successivamente con ABSTRACTION.
Da quest’ anno a causa dell’ inaspettata chiusura del Mutiny, la serata si sposta di MARTEDI’ al CABARET PORTALBA (NA) ma la formula resta la stessa:
MUSICA, ARTE, VIDEO tutto come sempre rigorosamente dal vivo.
Nessuno pseudonimo il Martedì al Cabaret Portalba sara’ semplicemente COOLING!
In questa edizione a completare il nostro spazio libero e “refrigerante” saranno i sapori. Ogni martedì sara’ possibile degustare gratuitamente prodotti tipici campani rivisitati da dallo chef del Ristornate Il Paolanto (Fusaro Bacoli NA). Cosi facendo abbiamo soddisfatto tutti sensi rimanendo fedeli alla nostra essenza sperimentale, libera e aperta a tutti coloro che ne vogliono prender parte.
L’ appuntamento con COOLING e’ dunque tutti i martedì al CABARET PORTALBA, l’ ingresso e’ libero…waiting for u! COOLING ART.

Naples, a city of art, music, tastes, smells, and surreal feelings.
Love, hate, violence, wealth, deep poverty coexist in a metropolis where everything and nothing becomes just one thing, bringing to life to an abstract and cooling plan, understandable only to those who live with passion the most nonsensical place in the world.
This intro is not very understandable and, as generally happened all around Naples, it is not fundamental to have a lot of questions, because of course, this means you can’t get any answer.
But, if you have any idea and will to see them becoming a reality in a self-sufficient way, you have such a lot of space available for you!
These are the essential requirements of COOLING ART which was born in 2005 from the needs of a project named URGEN GROUP.
Basically its aim is to create a free midweek night based on the main features of the Neapolitan Underground.
Art, live music, dj-set, video installations, fashion, tastings, everything and nothing gets together in a completely free and independent space where everyone is an integral part of his living.
Since its birth, the wintry edition of COOLING ART has been arranged on Wednesdays at the Mutiny Republic, while on Thursdays at the Rising.
Moreover, the first year was created with the pseudonym of ABNORMAL PARTY, and later under the name of ABSTRACTION.
Since this year, because of the unexpected closing of the Mutiny, the party is moving to the CABARET PORTALBA of Naples, on Tuesdays.
But it is based on the same features:
MUSIC, ART, VIDEOS, everything as usual and of course in a live version.
No other pseudonym on Tuesdays at the Cabaret Portalba but only COOLING!
Anyway, for this edition, to fulfil our free and cooling space we are adding our flavours.
On Tuesdays characteristic Neapolitan products for free will be a reality, especially thanks to our chef coming from Il Paolanto restaurant, placed in Fusaro, Naples.
In such a way we are sure to please every single feeling, being faithful to our experimental essence, completely free and opened to everyone who wants to be part of it.
So next appointment with COOLING is on Tuesdays at CABARET PORTALBA.

Musica per ascensori di un grattacielo assurdo. Ai primi 30 piani, una clinica per la gioventù sonica vittima dell' Lsd. Poi 69 piani di museo delle cere del rock. Nei garage un pub che dispensa krauti e birra. Nell'attico il rifugio segreto del clan Iommi-Darrell. Due chitarristi italo-texani per gioco immaginano questo side project. Il gioco diventa presto più serio delle loro band. Ecco i Frijid Black...salite sul loro ascensore, non servono monete ma sinapsi.

Some comments: Carsten Rausch: I really like Mario Plaza - Vocal Sense. All Mixes are nice, but the Original Mix is my fav. Full support for that one! Dave James: Vocal sense is cool, hypnotic mix is my fave. Galuszka: The original starts chunky and gets funky, a nice groove. The remixes by Luis Noic take it minimal. The Hipnotic remix revisits some classic techno sounds, love it. The Reddman: The Vocal Sense Track was very smooth. It was one of those tracks that make you want to just stand in front of the speaker, close your eyes and let the music take you on a trip to somewhere deep within your own mind. M.O.D.E.: Luis Noic on vocal sense is great. Marc Fuccio (Fresh DJS): Favourite mix is Luis Noic Hypnotic remix. Deep sounds with brilliant production.
