I will be recording solo material and publicising it here.

Alongside solo material, I am also currently priveleged to working with some hugely talented individuals to create some great tunes:

Roused To Burning Homes (www.myspace.com/rousedtoburninghomes): Blistering space rock... kinda like Hawkwind meets The Stooges... Get aboard the mothership!

You?: Anyone with something to say or play and an open mind will be welcome to collaborate on the Coopah manifesto. Coopah as a "group" was concieved initially as a collective - as and when we meet / find people on the same wavelength, we will be happy to work together to create something... come on, dive in!
InfluencesMinor Threat, Terminus, Stiglitz, Fugazi, Billy Bragg, The Evens, Dr Octagon, Nick Drake, Egg Hunt, Propagandhi, John Pilger, Antelope, Generic, Cub Country, Pelican, Will Oldham, Mastodon, Antidote, R. L. Burnside, The Dead Kennedys, Maurizio Bianchi, Godflesh, The Bronx, Hunter S. Thompson...
Sounds Like"...some genuinely very beautiful tunes... Melodic hooks...subtle guitar interplay to keep the listener's attention, and banter from the frontman is delivered with warmth and wit..." John Waugh of The Tea Monkeys)

"...Coopah mix it up and it makes for a more complex, interesting sound..." G of Red Star Radio fame (www.myspace.com/redstarradioband))

"...he cannot be crushed..." - mr vitriol himself: Jackbomb (www.myspace.com/vitriolicbastard)

"...quite different to much of what we see on the acoustic scene..." - the honourable lord spite - Pes (www.myspace.com/tlfacousticsoda)

   About Coopah
Coopah is a non profit "group" centred around the vision of creating stripped down, honest, freely available music. Taking cues from the folk / punk / post hardcore movements that have spanned many decades - Coopah will make music that, hopefully, adds to this tradition.

Coopah was formed sometime in 2004 / 2005 in a pretty rancid bedroom in digs near a football stadium after I saw Ian Mackaye's The Evens. Soon afterwards I was embroiled in the sordid and confused world of Deus Machina's (www.myspace.com/deusmachina666) Lee burns: a man who pretty much embodies UK punk. His awesome ear came in handy polishing my scrappy folk-esque output and we played many a gig together (with sometime bassist Simon "Magus" Ball of FNMUK).

 Times change.

I am capricious and am blessed with a paralyzingly short attention span.

So now Coopah exists in a few schizoid guises... a folk band... an acoustic "lounge" act... a post hardcore loop n guitar minimalist experiment...

  I hope you enjoy.

Whether the songs are based around history, emotion, experience or the will to protest - Coopah will wear it's brass plated heart on a tattered sleeve.....

 ...Salut!

Some Footage of me giving it some pure, unadulterated stick on vox and guitar for the best band that never was - The Pissed Virgins (www.myspace.com/thepissedvirgins) covering Helmet's utterly timeless bit of aggro rock UNSUNG.

Hi there,

We have just uploaded some songs from our forthcoming album 'Kill or Cure' to our MySpace page and we also have a new download area at http://rockrecordsuk.co.uk/music.php from which all our music can be downloaded for free.

Thanks a lot if you get a chance to listen and hope you enjoy it :)

Thanks for adding Sinister Research Facility. We make interesting things and we want to tell the world about them. Stop by and check out our redesigned page and new artwork. We also have our steam/breaks musical project at www. myspace. com/goodsoldiersvejk and our wonderfully puerile, extremely dubious animations at

Happy new year and thanks for the add from T. Edward Devilish and Sinister Research Facility! We've great art on our page, fine literature, and we'd like to announce the arrival of our new, offensive film site

Tired, anxious and generally on a bit of a downer.

How be thee? You've not been spreading your virtual love around as often as usual. And why are you looking for a new motor?

..

..

So with just 30 days to go we can confirm we have less than 30 tickets available, it seems our advert in Terrorizer is paying dividends. To avoid dissapointment, please visit the Metieval Online Shop at http://www.metieval.co.uk/Shop.htm or click on the poster above and buy yours ASAP. As for the final slot, so far we've had 38 bands apply, and some of them are downright awesome, it will be a very tough decision to make and it certainly won't be made till after the bank holiday weekend. So if any bands that have not already applied there is still time.

See you all there!

In years to come folk will remember the day they marched to a metal gathering at a secret location in East Yorkshire. Clad in leather they made their way to the front of the stage to witness the might and fury of the Metieval festival's divine offerings ...

Yo! Breaking sounds great on that recording. The problem with live mixes is the lack of definition on the quiet bits, but that is some great stuff, right there.

We need to get the Big Guns Gig booked again. Say, Firebug on a Thursday or Sunday or something...

Go Go Go Mechagodzilla!

Last night was awesome, dude. We DEFINITELY have to do that lineup again. Very cool stuff - what was the fourth track you played? It has some Em chord (?) played for like 12 bars as the intro. THAT was my favourite, alongside the frankly genius Tokyo In Flames, or Godzilla, or whatever it was. I have the vocal line stuck in my head this morning!

Peace, you multi-talented fuck.
