Detours to Destiny was written under the direct influence of the Holy Spirit at a time when this author/recording artist was living in the midst of fiery trials and tribulations. The only thing left for her to do was fast, pray, and seek God vigorously. She spent the majority of her time passionately pursing God in prayer, worship, research, and fasting, then one night something incredible happened.

This eventful night, her pastor, Bishop T.D. Jakes, prophesied to the Potter’s House audience that God spoke to him declaring that there were certain supernatural ministries in the audience and God commanded him to pray for them - to literally lay hands on these people. Dee knew that she was one of them so she did not hesitate. After he prayed for her, God moved powerfully - more powerful than she’d ever experienced.

This caused another major turn in her life. Her writings increased more and more. She wrote poetry of sermons before they were preached and prophecies before they were fulfilled. She wrote about things that she did not understand and she walked in victory although trouble was still all around her.

God used her vessel of honor to write the books, Detours to Destiny, with messages to reach out to all. The main purpose of the books are to touch and transform lives by means of the Spirit of Truth against the Spirit of Error; to challenge and warn about entrapments and bondage; to help fight against the evil net for the souls of men; to ender unusual blessings to every reader; all to push all into his/her divine destiny. God knew that in the last days it would become harder and harder for man to stay on track due to the deceptive tactics and schematics of the enemy and that it would be even more difficult for the sinners or the lost man to find His way. God breathe on these books causes Detours to Destiny to shine the light brighter to reveal the things which are hidden and spread the truth of the matter all over the world. The Holy Spirit is grieved over the many errors and lies planted around the church body destroying God’s creation today.
