COOPER'S UNCLE has been together for over 8 years, and their portfolio of performances includes numerous Music Festivals including three years in a row at the Old Settlers Music Festival, three showcases at the SXSW music festival, and the prestigious ACL -Austin City Limits music festival in 2004. The band has made numerous apperances on local television and radio, such as Fox morning news, music on the roof top Channel 8, KUT, KLBJ, and KOOP radio. They have written songs for other artists, done studio session work for other artists, and have produced recordings of themselves and other artists. They also co-host an annual music festival and campout called WENDELFEST. They have lent their talent to several compilation albums, and their debut album, "Greenwood", has showed great success, being widely sold throughout the U.S. and Europe through the Genuine Recordings Label. A sophomore release is on the horizon.
