About me:
I'm Mike. I do my best to be exactly who I am, for better or worse (because who else can I be?), while taking great pains to be as unlike everyone else as I can manage, and stubbornly hoping that I'm not the only one who sees some value in that. I may be over-thinking things.
Want to see some of the stuff I've done? The video below is a good start, as is the blog above. My website, which is mostly old stuff from college, can be found here.
Who I'd like to meet:
Anyone who thinks this is hilarious:
Iconoclasts of all stripes. Isn't it creepy when people write "You!" here?
Dave told me about it. I'm going to try to make it after my Squonk gig. I can't really ditch the gig cause I need the money. And it's acoustic Squonk, which is a trip. And it benefits the 14th Ward Democrats, which is my ward. But if it's over early I will certainly see you tonight. Best of luck and have fun!
COOPER, HEY Friend. you are in my top friends. I just don't check the myspace everyday, and it wouldn't let me change my stuff so i was mad and didn't get on at all. It's all changed & fixed. LOVE ROBIN When are we going to the movies again??? Want to see the Watchmen??
I'm not referring to the tie (...although the man does like purple), and I'm not implying he's in the closet, but you cannot argue that the subject hasn't exactly come up. He has, however, been very passionate about gay rights. Very. So I'm just wondering... Let's just say I wouldn't be surprised.
So, i'm up in the air about seeing watchmen... i want to see it but am afraid it's going to shatter my ideas from the comic. i figure you would have seen it by now, was it worth it?
So this is the practical application of The Ministry of Truth, right? I especially like the fact that it is particularly labeled "The Trustworthy Encyclopedia".
Orwell is rolling in his grave.
Now find me where the Ministry of Plenty is in modern times. I vote for the Girl Scout cookie racket or The Disney Vault.
NBC's "Fear Factor" - Ministry of Love: The Game Show.
Obama's Inaugural Celebration had nothing on Jackson's:
"In 1829, a horde of 20,000 Inaugural callers forced President Andrew Jackson to flee to the safety of a hotel while, on the lawn, aides filled washtubs with orange juice and whiskey to lure the mob out of the mud-tracked White House."
Where was cable news in the 1800's when you need it?
