1st Lady Jenice Loyd-Thompson, Co-Pastor of Calvary Temple Christian Center Ministries 319 Barnum Avenue Bridgeport, CT 06608 has been saved since February of 1972. She received the Baptism in Jesus’ Name and the infilling of the Holy Spirit under leadership at Fellowship Temple Church in Bridgeport, CT. She served diligently and faithfully over two decades in this previous ministry. She married John R. Thompson, Sr. in November of 1986 and went with him into the pastorate in 1992; having been well groomed for this next level in Christ, as lst Lady/Co-Pastor.
Her offices were everything from typist to teacher, prayer warrior to praise leader, director, secretary of various ministries; to name a few! Lady Thompson is a graduate of Trumbull High School and a former mortgage closer for Merrill Lynch and Citytrust (now Chase Manhattan Bank of CT). She worked in the corporate world for over 14 years.
She now serves full time in the ministry as Co-Pastor of CTCC, as well as a licensed Realtor for the State of Connecticut. She is the mother of two young men, John R. Thompson, II and Justin R. Thompson. Lady Thompson is a God-fearing, Holy woman of God and the number 1 supporter of her husband’s vision and ministry. Her desire is to see Calvary grow with strong loving families, teaching men by example. There is one thing she would like you to know about her and that is, she has no problem in bowing to the Lord Jesus Christ!

We may NOT like our siuation (and in MOST cases "we" WON'T), But because WE Are CHRISTIANS; because we are a "chosen generation; because we are a royal priesthood; because we are a Holy nation and a peculiar people...WE... "SHOULD"... LOVE...GOD and WE...MUST...TRUST..."HIS"...WILL FOR, OUR LIVES!
The Bible says "And going a little further, He threw Himself upon the ground on His face and prayed saying, My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from Me, nevertheless, not what I will [not what I desire], but as You will and desire" (Matt.26:39 AMP).
The Bible also says "For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome" (Jer.29:11 AMP).
Is that where the phrase "Trusting God's Purposes" came from? Hmmmmmmmm?
The Bibleway Youth Ministries will be having a Youth Platform Service, on March 15, 2009 at 5 pm. The theme of the Service is “No Restraints”.
The theme is about taking the “restraints” off GOD so HE can move freely in our lives, so we can be what GOD desires us to be. And for us as a people to take the “RESTRAINTS” off our own selves as well. We need not to keep GOD in a “box” where HE is unable to use us as HIS own. In addition, we need to take the LIMITS OFF of our selves and our lives so we can go beyond our expectations.
The YOUTH are called because we are STRONG. When we come to together on ONE ACCORD, we are STRONG AND MIGHTY, because where there is UNITY there is STRENGTH. We would like for your Youth Department to come and fellowship with us and to lift up the name of Jesus. In addition, we are asking for anyone that would like to participate please feel free to do so!!!
