Before this our band sound's like american punk rock band, but now we want to introduce to MALAYSIA that there is a new breed of punk music,it is called HARDCORE POP/PUNK.....it is recently been introduce by some american pop punk band like NEW FOUND GLORY,FOUR YEAR STRONG,FIGHT FAIR....etc.....we dont know if there are any malaysian band know this kind of genre...but if there is...lets UNITE....it is a mixture sound of METALCORE genre and blend with POP PUNK music which i thought it was cool...imagine how its sound like....BLINK 182 met ATREYU,blend their music together and there u go...this new genre(i think so)is also called POPCORE or POP PUNK BREAKDOWNS(that is what the americans called)which i think it is cool,we still try to study this type of music first and for those who already heard this kind of genre and lke it...CO-PILOTDOWN is on your side...still this type of music is still new to the music scene....what else next...INDIECORE,DANGDUTCORE...who knows
Formed in 2004, Co-Pilot Down started their stage scene in a school named Smk Tinggi Port Dickson where they previously studied at. Starting as a school band, they started their glory day by playing on every events that they can get they hand onto. Alvin, Nazmi, and Khalis was the original band members and later Azeem/Serame was invited into the band.Going to a better way of performing on stage, they started playing Underground Scene which at that time was the pay to play scene. It is a challenge that for them as the distance become the worst fear as they are staying far in Port Dickson and the nearest gig stage was in Kuala Lumpur. They went through all the trouble just to play on that particular event. Now, 4 boys from Port Dickson under the genre of Alternative Hardcore Punk Rock will rule the street as they are trying to catch their dream of becoming malaysian Punk Rock band.
