About me:

I am a Mom.
I have 6 kids.
No, I don't think that is too many.
No, I don't think a child can be "defective".
Yes, I think every child has unique issues to cope with.
I believe that being a parent is better than having a new car, vacations, a luxurious home, a prestigious career, a party boat, RV or steak. And that's good. Because I don't have any of those things.
I believe that Government institutions are there to improve society and are well intentioned; and that the people who work in them are mostly those who are motivated to improve life and culture for us.
I also believe that institutions can be too inflexible to work in every case and that a parent has to evaluate his own child's needs as objectively as possible to determine what will benefit him/her the most.
I believe that every parent believes that they are a good parent.
I don't believe that can be so.
I don't think it's my place or right to point out to someone else how to improve -- except upon the rare occasion I am asked to do so.

I believe in church.
I believe that a Christian foundation will provide the basis for moral and ethical living in our children.
I don't believe that you HAVE to go to church to be a good person or to bring up good kids.
I don't believe that most of the people who have NO church contact for their kids' childhoods remember to focus on moral training.
I believe that a child brought up with religious training has a better chance to be a person of integrity -- even if they choose to have no religious contact as an adult.

I believe that doctors mean to help.
I wish they always could.
But some things can't be fixed.
Don't blame me.....I won't blame you.
I mean to help too.
