Copy & Paste, the wacky Electro-Trash-Pop duo from Bern, Switzerland, that prefers punk shows to dancefloor events, is putting out their second release on Everestrecords. The EP “It’s Ok If It’s You” contains four new tracks plus remixes of Bern dub heroes Filewile (Mouthwatering Records), minimal newcomer Wildfang (Festmacher), Playboy’s Bend from Belgium and Beats on Demand (Gene Poole).
New influences are clearly audible, after more than 50 gigs during their last concert season in Switzerland, Germany and Austria. The music has matured, is crispier and more elaborately produced. The song “My Boy” - the secret hit of the EP - features Bern rapper Gambit (Revolt Records); a collaboration beyond musical boundaries, that is followed up by exhilarant remixes: groovy dub, solid breaks, frisky 4 to the floor and 8 Bit Trash round the EP pleasantly off.
