SUBMISSIONS for spring 2008:
We are looking for a wide variety of media, including but not limited to
sculpture, essays, prints, plays, instructions for or evidence of performance art, poetry, collages, graffiti,
travelogues, visual collections, short stories, installations, etc.
The deadline is

Submission Guidelines
For art,
- send as an attachment to coraddi.art@gmail.com. Include name, phone number, and media in the email body.
- digital images must be at 300 dpi
- five submissions per person maximum
For lit,
- send as an attachment to coraddi.lit@gmail.com
- MS word document preferred
- 7500 words or 30 pages maximum
- 12 pt. Times New Roman font
- double spaced
- five submissions per person maximum
- author's name and phone number in the email body
Hard copies are accepted
in 222-N EUC
but will not be returned.
Prizes
will be awarded in each category by a UNCG faculty judge.
1st: $100, 2nd: $50, 3rd: $25.
CALL FOR PAPERS - Art and Politics
Coraddi is looking for nonfiction prose works that explore the relationship between art & politics, especially in the context of current world events. What role does art have in the political arena? How should art treat political themes? Should politicians consider art when making policy? You may want to weigh these and other questions concerning responsibility, expression, morality, escapism, transcendence, utility, etc. You may want to discuss the political art of the present moment. You may also want to make a case for the complete separation of art & politics. Any & all approaches to the subject are encouraged.
Format: 15,000 words maximum, paginated, double spaced, 1" margins, 12pt Times font. MS Word files (.doc) preferred. Include a cover page with name, email, & phone. The entrant's name should not appear anywhere on the manuscript. Submit via email attachment to coraddi.lit@gmail.com.
The deadline is Friday, February 29th, 2008.
A cash prize of $150 will be awarded to the winning paper as selected by a faculty judge. Only students or groups affiliated with UNCG are eligible for the contest. However, all entries will be considered for the Spring 2008 issue of Coraddi.
