About Fritz Robinson

Hey ya'll I am a 29 year old singer-songwriter originally from New York and now trapped in Northern California. Trapped until I will be relocating to Kentucky. I started playing music as a child and just never stopped I guess. Sometime around my twelth year on this planet I began to put my emphasis on guitar which is my main instrument. After some years of playing in all kinds of bands I began to write my own my songs while laid up from a bad broken leg. I didn't realize how much I loved writing until I completed my first song entitled " Broken " a song simply about the end of the road. I found writing to be therapy for me and a way to relate to others about the issues I've come to see we all have. Music seems to be the only place I can be as opinionated and narrow minded as I am. It's my own space where you can come and go as you please but I remain. I get to be as mad as I want and simple as I want. About two and a half years ago I completed a self titled LP called " Coram Deo " with a band of friends that formed over a lot of late night hang outs. Since then I've ventured back into a solo project simply because I don't like to share the trouble I get myself into. I pieced together my own recording studio known as The Toybox about a year and a half ago. With the same group of friends as well as some new ones backing me up I am working on my next project. I expected to be done with this project this past spring but with your own studio and no dead line the temptation got the best of me. The temptation is turning out great though and will be released as soon as i stop playing with all this synth software. So look for it.
