Cora Rose is a fresh talent emerging from amidst
the new wave of young acoustic artists.
A Wisconsin native, she began writing and performing at
a very young age, developing her skill as a singer and songwriter. She recorded her first CD, Ebony, as a sophomore in high school and in the following years followed a path that has led her from rural Wisconsin to Tennessee to Maine. She is currently studying international trade, development, and Spanish at College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor, Maine. After graduating in 2010, the road will open once more and the only certainty is that she will always continue to write, record, and perform. Her goal is simply to compose from the heart.

You went and did it again. Writing and recording those songs that you know I love.
"Superman" is wonderful. Love the vocal style on this one. Great piano as always. I really liked the Djembe that starts half way through. Maybe two of them? Or is that other percussion a Cajon?
Sweet bouncy acoustic guitar on "Brothers". Very groovy!
"Talk About Soul" is a pop radio hit. I hope to hear that on the radio very soon. It's got all the necessary elements.
I really liked "Two Dimensions of Time", as well. I was hearing this huge blues/pop arrangment, but the stripped down acustic is great!
All in all, very nice indeed. I missed my trip out to Nashville this summer. I'm gonna make it out next summer for sure. If your there is would be great to work on something. Hope all is well as I spend my best wishes. Please keep making these songs. I'll be waiting for the next installment.
ok stranger, so i miss you tons!!!!!! we are moving!! EEEK! don't worry there is an extra room you can stay in when you visit. it's a house, with a pool and a yard for the pup! we close next monday :) now back to you, where the hell are you? i keep finding little pieces of cora around the house, mostly the kitchen cabinet and it makes me sad :( i miss you slipping and tripping and wiping out. hey.. how's everything going? so I performed for the Relay for Life w/ my mom's song. She loved it and the people that are in charged of the R4L they want me to come back next year!!
