Modern, Celtic, Atmospheres. All kinds, but I'm usually listening to something punk. Green Day, Rancid, or Misfits.
Movies
Underworld, The Howling, Cursed, American Werewolf in London, Dog Soldiers, Rabid, The Lost Boys, The Crow, 28 Days Later--Horror movies rock my socks. Particularly Werewolf and Zombie flix. Also like stuff like Practical Magic, Pi, French Kiss.
Television
Battlestar Galactica, South Park, Futurama. I don't watch much TV.
Books
Paranormal romances, romantica, erotica, and futuristics/science fiction. Smutty stuff with plenty of naughty bits and dirty talk. Books you don't lend out to your mama, and can typically find at online shops like Ellora's Cave, Cobblestone Press, and Freya's Bower. On the other hand, I also like dystopian novels: Margaret Atwood, Cormac McCarthy, Anthony Burgess, and George Orwell.
Heroes
Hm... dedicated people, and my parents. People who take the time to say something nice, who offer a helping hand when they see someone in need. People who resist the urge to snark on others. Heroes are people who are kind to children and to animals, and know that respect is something earned through trust and kindness, not through throwing your weight around and threatening others. A hero is someone who fights for their country despite the political flavor. There are many hero types out there, and all of them put others before themselves.

Hi! Just wanted to make sure all my friends know that my new erotic horror novel THE 13TH is now in stores everywhere! I hope you'll check out this debauched and demonic horror ride!
There's even a website devoted just to the book, with an interactive map of the places and characters at www.the13th-horror.com.
Edward Lee called THE 13TH "A double-barreled shotgun blast of macabre entertainment -- an expert amalgamation of grotesquerie, eroticism, mystery, and pitch-black occult horror that no fan of the genre can miss."
And Gary A. Braunbeck said, "John Everson's The 13th is the first out-and-out horror novel in a long while to actually scare the **** out of me while reading it. It's stylish, extremely well-written, filled with richly-drawn characterizations, and boasts a labyrinthine plot worthy of Umberto Eco. Trust me -- this one will fry your nerves and break your heart."

WHAT INSPIRES YOU You are asked that one question What inspires you? Why do you do what you do? Why do you love what you love? What makes you go the extra mile? What, what, what inspires you? Do you write, play, or sing because you got the blues? Do you flow words because you got hope? Is hope worthy of inspired inspirations? Do you hear, listen or sing love songs because you’re in love? But you still adore love songs after the love is gone What inspires you? Did life experiences give you rations for thought? Do you live on, just because you woke up? What inspires you? Did you think about love, because a song inspired your mood? Did a vision of the opposite be all that was needed, to inspire you to venture? Was it as simple as a bird flying in the day, or a wave washing ashore? What inspires you? Does hope for a better day push your imagination to explore Is it you, is it someone, is it something, that brings you stimulation for the insight to revelations of what could be possible If you give a simple explanation, is there no intrigue to you? If you answer with complexities, will anyone care about what inspire you? Yet the question comes What inspires you? For me it’s the love for the peace, I desire in me So I do what I do I hope that inspires you, or you find what inspires you And the reason why, don’t waste your inspiration, trying to explain why cr2008 Seattle’s Poetry Man, Alvin Lloyd Alexander Horn the nationally known best selling author Read about his books, short stories and poetry, and hear his spoken word at http://alvinhorn.com
