Corazon Art and Music festival's aim is to unite a broader audience to the burgeoning independent music and art culture of Central Florida. We would like to create an atmosphere that makes the transition from the unknown into a comfortable embrace of the inspirational movement that calls artists and observers alike into action: that of the inspired creator and the appreciative observer. Let this festival, which is part of a greater action of the United Arts of Central Florida: ArtsFest, light the way for the rest of your days and warm your heart.
We would like to put people in a position to support a movement that means a great deal to our region. A great city is made up of many elements. A thriving business sector, educated people, and a fully supported sports and arts culture. If we can get the notice of our own people than the strength of those great voices will echo through the nation and eventually to the rest of the world. If we can embrace the creative force that is Central Florida, we could be more than just a destination for tourists wanting to escape into a fantasy world. We can be a destination for enlightenment (arts and culture).
This years festival will be part of United Arts of Central Florida's four county celebration of the arts: ArtsFest. Which includes hundreds of free arts and cultural events held in various locations throughout Lake, Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties. ArtsFest provides you with a taste of everything the arts community has to offer in your own backyard! This year, being the second year of the festival, we have changed locations to The Mission Inn Resort, which is located in Lake County. It will be free to the public and will take place on Friday the 13th and Saturday the 14th of February.
For those that don't want to drive, we will have a shuttle service that runs to and from a location close to downtown to the resort several times each day! There will be restaurants on resort grounds, but if you want to bring a lunch, feel free! If you want to get away for the weekend, check the resort's websites for specials. www.missioninnresort.com

Join local spoken word artist Dani O and a revolving roster of some of the area’s best poets as they incorporate and re-invent this game with unique sessions of live spoken word.

Corazon Art & Music Festival's Friend Space (Top 33)
Hey! The trip was great. First time going to the south. New Orleans was awesome. I'll have to put up pics so you can see the craziness on Bourbon Street.
Glad that I could actually relax and get to know you this time since the last time I met you it was for a day over the idol auditions when I was getting sick and focused on the audition.
Robert, thanks for the invite, so sorry I will have to miss playing and taking part in this festival, but you know, I'm a second season boarder, so call me next year ! Love you, T
