Twilight Hotel, a magnetic duo from Canada, joins CoraZong! Check out their video on this page. Welcome to Nashville, Dave Quanbury and Brandy Zdan, playing the infamous Basement, before heading to London to kick off their European tour. Twilight Hotel were just in LA and in Texas, read their journal on www.twilighthotel.ca to know which they want to move to, or can you guess? The Believers of Seattle are getting rave reviews and if you listen you'll know why and add your own for new artists on CoraZong Records: Craig Aspen and Cyd Frazzini. Check out their link in our Friends, and listen to them and watch them on this page too, and you may agree with their description: "Gram and Emmylou have the White Stripes over for dinner" We're real happy to have this talented duo, breaking alt-country ground, on board the CoraZong train . . . Hope you caught Peter Cooper and Eric Brace of Last Train Home touring Nederlands and Germany May 2- 14th, as a duo, great singer-songwriters both, and recenlty featured in Nashville songwriter fest, Tin Pan South . . . Krista Detor's Cover Their Eyes is charting on the Folk DJ list here and she's always on the go these days, thanks to her new agent, Fleming Artists, out to Under the Radar fest and back to Mountain Stage. . .Krista joins another new CoraZong artist, Tim Grimm, for his CD release concert July 18th. This earthy yet poetic singer-songwriter comes to CoraZong from Indiana. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You know what you like. So do we. Zongs written and sung from the heart, "corazon".Corazong signs artists that Bert and Evert like. They met years ago while working for big record companies, bringing the sounds of Bob Marley, Neil Young, Sheryl Crow, and Bryan Adams to Europe. When heart started to leave the music biz, so did they. Now they have their own label based in Holland, where Bert lives, with assistance from Evert, now in Nashville. MySpace seems the right place to share music from the heart- there are a lot of hearts out here. Check out our video player because our artists ROCK! inperformance. If you need a bigger dose of heart medicine try our website www.Corazong.com, and you can learn more about the artists and buying and booking there. Thanks for stopping by to listen to our music from the heart. We enjoy meeting our friends who are just a click away. So many of you are making music as well, it's a delight to cruise our friend base. Have fun!

Poem 162 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (please see my blog): TEES TO TYNE: FIRST IMPRESSIONS - SUMMER 2001
Where traditions are not so rare; Sea, country and works scent the air; A multitude of monuments, Planted tubs and patterned pavements.
The longish pedestrian malls; The remnants of defensive walls; Historic buildings are a gauge Of the respect for heritage.
Wheat, rape and pines in the fields; Estuaries guarded by shields; Long sandy beaches and wide scenes; Romantic-ruin go-betweens.
Rivers in parts licked by trees, Or fringed by boat clubs, wharfs, gantries, And crossed by practical delights - Varied spans, forming pleasing sights.
Fine churches headed at Durham; Football kits ad infinitum; Kept castles - one for study; Masonry behind masonry.
And, with moulding-works out that way, It’s somewhere for a longer stay..?

Poem 2 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (please see my blog): WALKABOUT WITH MY PEN
Once drove an old sedan, up north, From a place in Sydney to Cairns; Then to Kuranda I went forth, By train, to look without set plans.
I browsed through the trendy market, With fresh fruits of tropical kind; Walked to the creek through lush thicket - Nature’s hand giving peace of mind.
I dined in a scenic cafe; Then, outside, as I wrote for yen, Some passing Kooris called-out: “Hey, You go walkabout with your pen.”
Request or question, I don’t know - Assured voices, elderly men. That’s now several years ago, And I’ve seen the world - with my pen.
