About me:
On a cold and windy January night during the 70's, Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds was playing gently on the radio, Jimmy Carter was all but done breaking in the presidential chair in the oval office, and British novelist P. G. Wodehouse was being knighted by the Queen, I decided to pop out of the womb and procl.. 'Let's get this party started!' What followed then was not a celebration really, but years of uncomfortable diaper wetting and snotty noses. I quickly grew out of that and became a fresh faced and eager young man, waiting to see what the world had in store for him. After about a hour of wonder, I started skateboarding and listening to The Replacements. Fast forward through the agony of puberty, I settled into the bookstore business with my father. Now I spend my days chasing after useless knowledge, beautiful brunettes and Pynchon first editions. I can be found at Conor's Monday nights, releasing obscure facts that have been trapped in my head, Babs when the time calls for it, Shaman Drum for author readings, Camp Bold Eagle during July, and hopefully Tuesdays with my niece. I love a good joke, a funny story, a sad song but not a sad novel, a solid heist film and a great stand up comedy routine. And I need my sunlight.
