Hey there,
Here's one from left field...
Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.
I encourage all to visit the YouTube page to learn more (Show support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly circulate as widely as possible, here:

Say have you checked out my web site recently?
Take care and keep in touch.
Best,
Faber."Just a guy trying to make the world a better place."

"Along their migratory routes, monarch butterflies stay nights in certain trees. The 'butterfly trees,' as they are called, are carefully chosen--although the criteria exercised in their selection are not known. Species is unimportant, obviously, for at one stopover the roosting tree may be a eucalyptus, at another a cedar or an elm. But, and this is what is interesting, they are always the same trees. Year after year, whether moving south or returning north, monarchs will paper with their myriad wings at twilight a single tree that has served as a monarch motel a thousand times before. "Memory? If so, it is genetic. For you see, the butterflies who journey south are not the ones who come back. Monarchs lay their eggs in sunny climes. Then they die. The hordes who flutter northward in spring are a succeeding generation. Yet, without hesitation, they roost in the same trees as did their ancesors. "Scientists have examined butterfly trees and found them chemically and physically identical to the trees surrounding them. Yet no other tree will do. Investigators have camouflaged a tree's color, altered its scent. The monarchs were not fooled. Another of nature's mysterious constants. A butterfly always knows when it is there." -Tom Robbins, Another Roadside AttractionMusic

Hope for the Flowers by Trina Paulus www.hopefortheflowers.com “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” - Mark Twain [Samuel Clemens] (1835-1910), humorist, essayist, novelistHeroes

It has been noted by almost every ancient wisdom tradition.” —Elizabeth Gilbert (b. 1969), novelist, biographer, essayist “I long to accomplish a great and noble tasks, but it is my chief duty to accomplish humble tasks as though they were great and noble. About me:
"What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly." - Chuang Tse .. “Most people never run far enough on their first wind to find out they've got a second. Give your dreams all you've got and you'll be amazed at the energy that comes out of you.” —William James (1842-1910), psychologist, philosopher, author .. Hmmm...well I am the middle child of Irish immigrant parents...so I'm first generation American but because I am the 1st generation here, I am also technically an Irish citizen. Which is cool because if our president continues on the path we are on- he might not have a clear "exit strategy" but I do. I would love one day to return to my homeland. I went back home for the first time in 15 years this past April and almost never came back. People who know me, think of me when they see a butterfly. I've been volunteering at the Museum of Natural History's Butterfly exhibit for the past 5 years and raising and releasing Monarch butterflies in season. Plus, the past few years I've been bringing the butterflies to the people via a traveling exhibit which is basically a 10x13 screened in mesh tent filled with Milkweed, Monarch butterfly eggs, caterpillars, chrysalis and of course live Monarch butterflies. At the end of every exhibit- all the butterflies are released into the wild.MySpace IMPACT / PayPal fundraising widget

Who I'd like to meet:
Okay so I already have but we might be working together: .. “No snowflake in an avalanche ever feels responsible.” —Voltaire (1694-1788) philosopher, author That's what it takes to be a hero, a little gem of innocence inside you that makes you want to believe that there still exists a right and wrong, that decency will somehow triumph in the end. - Lise Hand, describing Irish journalist Veronica Guerin, who was killed as a result of her investigations of Irish organized crime.Details
