CorePower Yoga was founded in February 2002, when (former) IT executive Trevor Tice decided a career change was in order. A native of Telluride, CO, Tice found yoga a powerful tool in healing not only prior sports injuries, but in creating a sense of balance in his otherwise hectic life. After researching the market and finding it highly underserved, Tice developed the business plan for CorePower Yoga. His main goal was to increase the accessibility of yoga for all people, and in 2002, opened the doors to his first studio in Central Denver.
Today, CorePower Yoga has grown to 27 studios in Colorado, California, Oregon, Minnesota and soon to be Illinois.
