L.A. based songwriter Corey Elliott, writes music at the speed of light. The lyrics and melodies flow from his mind onto paper and then into the studio. That is what happened on his current project entitled, "The Corey Elliott Song Collection". The creative process started over a year ago when Corey contacted Phil Gough to help him record his creations. Check out Phil's myspace page at:myspace.com/commonsense. The chemistry was awesome between Phil and Corey. Corey would sing his melodies and lyrics to Phil and Phil would lay down a bass track, guitar track, etc. After putting down the tracks, they invited vocalist Elisa Fiorillo (Prince/Jellybean/Savage Garden)into the studio to sing the songs. He was introduced to Jim McGorman (from the hit tv show Rockstar and rhythm guitartist for Avril Lavigne) to sing and produce some of the songs. Hey Corey! Whazzzup??? I'm so excited to see your myspace page up and running! It looks great! Also, I'm so happy to hear the mixes of some of the songs up there! I had such a great time singing your songs. I hope that every artist starts fighting over cutting your songs! Ha! They would be crazy not to sing them! Great melodies and great lyrics. How could you go wrong...we need your songs out there, cause now aday's people just don't write great songs like these! You should be so proud! You are an amazing song writer and a great person.
