About me:
Welcome To My Tribute to CORKY THE CLOWN! If you have any photos of Corky The Clown or any other early St.Louis TV items please scan them and send them to me as a jpg and we will put them on our site.KSDK (KSD-TV)-5 NBC in St.Louis, Missouri: This was by far the longest-running show I know of. Cliff St. James did the weather at night but dressed up as "Corky the Clown" daily; in later years, on Saturdays only. They showed Looney Tunes cartoons and had guests and kids live in the studio. There were several puppets, including Lorelei the bird who sang opera and pulled pranks. Sometimes Cliff appeared on the show as himself in the later years. The program went off the air in the 1970s.
Who I'd like to meet: "Here Are Some Other Fond St.Louis Memories"
Hey! I loved Corky's show growing up! My brother always thought that our Dad was Corky! He was in fact Morgan Hatch from Bowling For Dollars! He is now a guitarist in the Tom Christopher Band! www.tomchristopherband.com Thanks for the ADD!
Thanks for adding me! I have fond memories of watching Corky's Colorama when I was a kid. Especially when I got to be on the show with my brownie troup! I wish I had picture or a copy of the show! Oh well! Corky always made me smile!
Hi Corky, thanks for the friend request. Unfortunately I was not in St. Louis then, but I heard a lot of good things about you. Glad to have you on our friends list.
