Cormyr is a band that seeks to bring a new sound to metal, and to the music world. By combining the vast and various influences along with our own musical style we seek to create something original and lasting. Something which will cut through the harrowing discord of thousands of crying voices seeking fame. So take a listen, and we hope to get a chance to show many of you what our musical alchemy has created.
Cormyr started coming together in late 2005 when Jesse and Sean started playing covers together on guitar. After going through several members on different instruments, Adam came in to play Bass. From this point in early 2006, we invited other people to come over and cover songs by bands such as Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Ensiferum, Amon Amarth, etc. After some unsuccessful attempts to find a full time drummer, Adam's friend Jared was brought in to play drums for our original material until we could find a permanent member. Jared brought Ron, the guitarist from their band Condemned to Suffer, to try out for vocals and was accepted into the band. By the end of summer 2006, Dan Nugent had been recruited to play drums, coming from his old band Shotgun Terror. Since August 2006, we have been writing and covering songs, as well as playing a few shows in the area. As of March 2007, we have completed our first EP, which features 5 original songs and will be available in April 2007. Throughout the rest of 2007 and into 2008, we will continue writing new material in order to record a 9 song album by the end of 2008. This recording will feature re-recorded versions of all 5 tracks from our first EP, as well as 4 brand new songs.

As for now we dont have a label to release our latest album "The Dying Wonders Of The World" in the states. (TDWOTW was released in Europe through Massacre records under licence from Nuclear Blast records-Europe)
And because we have this massive support from all of you guys in USA, we feel that the album should be availble for you aswell!!!
Best Limp Bizkit covers I've ever seen. Hey but I changed my mind, you should call that song 7th Heaven instead. The entire record could be a WB Drama Block concept album.
