STAN DAILEY is the lead singer and bass player for Cornbread. His sweet tenor voice has enchanted fans all over the South for many years. Stan started his musical career with his parents gospel group called, strangely enough, The Daileys. Stan started playing professionally at the tender age of 8. By the time Stan was 18 years of age he had already recorded 3 albums with his family band. In 1982 Stan performed at the Worlds Fair in Knoxville, Tennessee with his high school string band. Stan has gone on to country and rock music with a band called Wild Horses opening for such acts as Alan Jackson and Travis Tritt. Stan joined the New Hinsons as vocalist and bass player in 1996 and joined the Rabbit Easter Band in 1998, earning a Dove nomination on their first project. Stan lives in Sylacauga, Alabama.
MARK SCOTT grew up on Sand Mountain, Alabama. Mark started playing banjo at the age of 12. Mark was playing every weekend by the age of 16 and continued to play the bluegrass circuit through the late 80's with various bluegrass bands. Mark plays banjo, mandolin and guitar and has palyed bluegrass, rock and R & B for the last several years. Mark plays banjo and mandolin for Cornbread Red. Mark lives in Glencoe, Alabama.
DENNIS CLIFTON grew up in Decatur, Alabama where at age 15 he learned to play slide guitar by watching Duane Allman rehearse and play with the band Hour Glass before it later became The Allman Brothers Band. Dennis hit the road at an early age playing clubs and opening concerts for acts like Lynyrd Skynyrd, 38 Special, Marshall Tucker, Fog Hat and Edgar Winter. In the late 70s Dennis formed a band with Larry Byrom of Steppenwolf. This group turned into FCC which recorded on RCA Records. Dennis was the lead singer and lead guitarist. You can hear Dennis soulful voice on the FCC hit Baby I Want You. Dennis has co-produced several bluegrass projects at Desert Rose Studios in Tuscumbia, Alabama over the last few years for Jake Landers, Rual Yarbrough and Iron Horse and others. Dennis lives in Killen, Alabama. Dennis plays guitar, dobro and bouzouki for Cornbread Red.
