At Cornerstone MCC, we offer a variety of programs and activities for Christian Worship, Fellowship, Service & Education. There is also a place in ministry for you at Cornerstone through one of our exisiting ministry programs or in the development of new ones. Join us as we grow together in faith and faithfulness. There is a place for everyone to share in God’s Word.

RAINBOW COUNCIL OF MINISTRIES
Becoming actively involved in your church is vital for your spiritual growth. This involvement in turn helps the church achieve its own spiritual goals. We offer so many different ways you can be a part of this exciting growth. We need people’s involvement in many different areas. You can be as active as you like. When we work together as a team, there’s no such thing as a project/event too big!
Please contact any board member, the Pastor or an existing team member to inquire about how you can help out on a team that may bring out your particular spiritual gifts. We promise you will be amazed how uplifting spiritual teamwork can be for you.
WORSHIP & EVANGELISM TEAM
All are invited to come learn about serving as Greeters & Ushers, Acolytes, Eucharistic Ministers, Scripture Readers and all other components of worship participation.
FELLOWSHIP & HOSPITALITY TEAM
This wonderful team is responsible for our delicious Sunday dinners served after service. We invite everyone to stay and enjoy a time of fellowship together. There is always room for more helping hands to maintain this vitally important aspect of our fellowship experience.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION TEAM
This team’s goal is providing a strong Christian foundation to all members of our church family. So, with that in mind, the Whole Family Christian Education has been created. There are now 4 age specific classes each Sunday designed to meet the needs of every member of your family.
BUILDING & GROUNDS TEAM
This team invites everyone that is interested and available to come lend a hand for Clean Up Days at Cornerstone and other routine maintenance/upkeep of our facilities, as we try to remain prepared to receive new visitors and members.
CONGREGATION CARE TEAM
This team is seeking assistance with their Living Stones Ministry. They need people to help them with telephoning church members once a month to say a quick hello and ask if there are any special needs; thereby creating stronger interpersonal bonds and sharing in one another’s triumphs and challenges.
MEDIA ADMINISTRATION TEAM
This team handles our media and publications such as our weekly Order of Service bulletin, our month newsletter, Around the Corner, our projection system via PowerPoint, website development and many other tasks. There is always a place for you to serve on this very busy team.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH TEAM
This team is seeking a leader who enjoys interacting with people and organizations outside the walls of the church. This team is currently seeking a MAP, Inc. (Mobile Alabama Pride, Inc.) liaison as well as several other people to serve on our PRIDE committee.
