One day a young man named Khari moved to Vancouver, BC from Detoit. He quickly became a part of the artistic community of east Vancouver. Out of a love for singing he saught to form an aca'pella group. He invided his friends Matt Anderson, Frazey Ford and Ora Cogan to join. We all spent many hours over the spring and summer of 2006 sitting around the table, listening to old gospel, blues and roots records and feavorishly learning the songs and their history.
