About me:
Coro Folklorico is a community of musicians based in the UK. We aim to inspire passion, participation and celebration of Afro-Latin art forms through performance and education. We pay homage to the deep roots of the traditional whilst encouraging a vibrant creation of contemporary music and dance. We are inspired by songs and rhythms from Africa and Latin America, from traditions such as Candomble, Ijexa, Samba de Caboclo, Santeria, Rumba, Guarapachangeo, Bembe, Arara, Palo, Ewe and Fon.
