Greetings metalheads!
Coroner consisted of a power trio: Tommy T Baron (Tommy Vetterli), Marquis Marky (Mark Edelman), and Ron Royce (Ron Broder). Coroner was one of heavy metal’s best and most criminally underated bands ever. This Swiss trio started out as roadies for the band Celtic Frost before forming a band on their own in 1986. In fact their first demo entitled "Death Cult" featured Tom G Warrior of Celtic Frost on vocals. Coroner was one of the most unique bands ever in heavy metal. They put out quality album after quality album and while each album was definitely different from each other they all retained the band’s trademark sound. The band released a total of 5 albums plus one self titled compilation with some remixes and new songs. The band ended up calling it a day in 1995 and Tommy T Baron went on to play with Kreator for awhile.
This site was started as a tribute to Coroner and is dedicated to the members of Coroner and Coroner fans around the world. This site was also put up to make sure that metal fans new and old alike will never forget the incredible music of Coroner. This site is NOT affiliated with any of the band members but was started by the members of Archetype as Coroner is Archetype guitarist Chris Matyus’ favorite band of all time. Since there wasn’t any myspace sites about Coroner we decided to make one. We want to make sure the metal world will never forget how fucking kickass Coroner really is and how unique they really were.
if any of the bandmembers read this then please...REFORM THE BAND AND RECORD A NEW ALBUM!
