Corpus Mortale hails from Denmark - Scandinavia... Corpus Mortale has been delivering extreme death metal the way it was meant to be since 1993...
Corpus Mortale was formed in early 1993. From the beginning the intention was to play pure and aggressive death metal. In the early years the band received great recognition in the underground through the demo’s “Corpus Mortale” 1995 and “Integration” 1996 but also through numerous successful concerts in Denmark and Germany.
The music took a new direction when Brian Eriksen and Jens Lee joined Corpus Mortale (both formerly of Iniquity). With this new line-up the band entered the studio in late 2000 to record “Succumb To The Superior” 2001 which proved to be the last official demo of the band.
With the new demo the band got some serious contract offers but no deals were being made. Jens Lee left the band in 2001 and Roar Christoffersen was recruited to take his place.
In September 2003 Corpus Mortale signed a record deal with Dutch label Neurotic Records (at the time a brand new label founded by a former employee of Hammerheart Rec. and Unique Leader Rec.) and in November the same year the debut album “With Lewd Demeanor” was released.
The album was supported by a European promotion tour along with Konkhra, Homo Iratus & Illnath. As Brian had to leave the band in 2003 just before the touring started Mads Hårløv (ex-Iniquity, Strangler, Swollen) joined in as a session member. With a full line-up the song writing went a lot smoother and in the spring and summer of 2006 the band went to the studio two times back-to-back.
The first recording was a 3 song ep “Seize The Moment of Murder” which was released in December 2006 by the Greek underground label Nuclear Winter Records. The other was the second album “A New Species of Deviants” which was released in November 2007 through Willowtip Records in North America and in February 2008 through Neurotic Records in the rest of the world.
Mads left the band and Brian re-entered Corpus Mortale. Then right after the new album contract was signed Nicholas decided to call it quits after 14 years with the band. Roar left about a year later to concentrate on another band.
The replacement for Nicholas is Rasmus Schmidt which is known for his work with The Omnihil and previously DownLord. Roar’s replacement on the lead guitar is Andreas Lynge (also in The Cleansing and also previously known from Usipian). The band will tour Scandinavia, Europe and hopefully North America throughout 2008 - 2010 to support the new album.
The band is currently working on their third album. The recordings are planned for spring 2010.

If you deliver PROTOOLS sessions, you need to clear the session of
unwanted information, especially if you plan to upload the project.
The easiest and best way to
clear a session would be:
Remove every hidden and muted track that is not supposed to be
in the mix. Remove every playlist not in use (if you worked with
playlists). After you have done this, select unused regions and choose
"clear", and then "remove". Now use the "Save Copy In" command from the
File menu. Check the boxes for "all audio files", and "don't copy fade
files". Don't change anything else. Choose a location and hit "save".
This will create a smallest possible session copy that you can zip/rar
and upload, or put directly on the hard drive/DVD discs that you send
