About me:
Steven Wright and Louisa de Smet started Corr Blimey in 2001 while studying fashion at the Canberra Institute of Technology.
Born out of the concrete jungle of Canberra, Corr Blimey pride themselves on strong design lines and colour diversity. Multiple ranges a season provide a constant stream of edgy looks that stretch the fashion imagination to the brink.
We take our influence from the world around us and view the urban environment as one of our main inspirations. We use non-conventional fabrics and ideas, while maintaining a style all of our own. We focus on one-off sculptural pieces to promote the label and create limited edition pieces to help quench the thirst of the public.
Corr Blimey work from a few simple principles.
1. All garments will be innovative and show the Corr Blimey style .
2. All fabrics will be natural where possible.
3. All fabrics will be produced in a manner that minimises harm on the natural world.
4. All garments will be designed and produced in Australia by Corr Blimey or under the direct supervision of Corr Blimey.
5. All garments will be one-offs.
6. Corr Blimey will lead and not follow in the footsteps of fashion.
