one night back in 1997 bryan and mark decided to skip a spahn ranch show at the capital ballroom, and instead decided to record their own industrial masterpiece. using a vacuum, a blender, a wrench, a water pipe running from the floor to the ceiling, an ASR 10, and a 4 track 'only in a world this shitty' was recorded and corretja was born. Now, one 7", 3 albums, and 10 years later, corretja have recorded their 4th disc at the Rudyland studios in Los Angeles under the strict supervision of the legendary Sam Justice of goth jones, the petitioners, and rita burrita. The CD, titled 'New Brutalism,' features 5 new songs- including a RARE acoustic and revealing cover of Grim Reaper's See You in Hell. New Brutalism is now available for your listening pleasure
