Biography
He was named as one of JazzWise Magazine’s “Ones To Watch for 2011”, and is currently studying a BMus in Jazz at Trinity College of Music, London. In and outside of Trinity he has studied with many of today’s most highly-acclaimed musicians including Drummers Ari Hoenig, Dave Wickins, Gene Calderazzo and James Maddren, and Saxophonist Will Vinson.
Having only recently turned 21, Corrie’s busy schedule is hotting up. Regularly touring and in a great deal of demand, Corrie also works closely with Trumpeter Laura Jurd and Pianist Elliot Galvin - with whom he co-runs the London-based Chaos Collective: http://www.chaos-collective.com/ - and plays with the ensembles of Sam Rapley, Sam James and Jonathan Chung amongst others.
In 2009 Corrie competed in the BBC Radio Scotland Young Jazz Musician of the Year Competition. You can see a video of his performance here
Corrie recorded an album in 2009 which was released on Wednesday 26th of May that year.

Corrie Dick is a drummer who composes a bit. .. He is fortunate to be involved in a few exciting bands and to have played with some of Scotland's most influential jazz musicians. He is a current member of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra of Scotland and Strathclyde Youth Jazz Orchestra. .. In 2009 Corrie competed in the BBC Radio Scotland Young Jazz Musician of the Year Competition. You can see a video of his performance ..here.. .. Corrie was recently accepted to study at Trinity College of Music in London, there he will study with either Dave Wickins/Gene Calderazzo. He begins his studies in September 2010. ..
