The name Corte Aqui, roughly translated, is spanish for "Five strapping young men with great promise and tremendous musical ability". To understand the impact that such a tremendous musical force is sure to have, one must first attempt to explore the mysterious pasts of it's individual members.
Justin McGovern - A former Navy Seal with skin like leather and a soul more ice cold than the popular 80's rock act Foreigner could have put into words. Justin once lost his left eye in a bloody bar fight, and then retrieved it via hunting down it's captor for three sleepness nights and beating him to death.
Alex Beattie - After much meditation, Alex has decided to put his groundbreaking work in the field of alchemy on hold in order to fully devote his time to Corte Aqui. He promises that the riffs he produces will have the power to "turn the shit of the poor into 24 karat gold". Alex is over 4,000 years old and can make a man's head cave in by glancing at him out of the corner of his eye.
Mike Lapre - Mike plays guitar in the band and he went to Seekonk High School.
Joe Bernard - It has long been speculated that Joe is the last living blood relative of Josiah Bernardicus, a mythical figure of Ancient Greece that was said to have beat the shit out of Hercules for acting like a big tough guy and running his mouth. Joe invented Jazz.
Carlos Molina - The man behind Pablo Escobar's plan. Before the fall of Christ, Don Carlos was offered a third arm by the angel Gabriel, so that one day he could save the world from disease and ruin with his amazing percussive ability. To this offering he replied, "I don't even need that shit". Time will tell.
Only now can you begin to comprehend the sort of impact that this "band" is sure to have. One can only tremble and clutch his cock-and-balls in fear at the unparalleled rockification that will ensue. Disregard the teachings of all known major religions. Corte-ism has arrived.
