CORTONA was born in Lyon in 2002 and the actual line up is working since 2004. Composed by Pav (vocals and guitar), Rav (guitar and back vocals), Tama (bass) and Dwarf (drums). Cortona's sound is between punk rock 77, rock'n roll and actuals influences.
After two 6 tracks maxis in 2004 and 2005, the band realizes its first album called "Clash of Generations".During their powerful, unbridled and exiting shows, Cortona shows all its potential.
In 2008 the DVD "Live at Ninkasi and other futilities" is out. Composed of a live performance and a lot of videos that remembers the whole life of the band. The same year is coming a 4 tracks maxi "We are the Bad News". And in 2009 the new maxi "CAFETERIA NOONA" is out, a little 5 bomb tracks record !!!
Between 2003 and 2009 CORTONA played more or less 15O shows, in France, Spain, Portugal and Germany.
