Cory Sims has lived in Chatsworth, Georgia since he was 5. He was raised on Country & Gospel music and he loves singing both styles. When Cory reached his early teens, he realized that he wanted to sing professionally. He started out singing in Churches, which prepared him for audiences, big and small. Later, after high school, Cory entered several contests around his state and won several.
At one of those contests, Cory met the owner of Sweet Southern Entertainment, Alisa Asbury and now they have been working together for about 2 years.
Cory has recently released his first country cd titled, "Different Sides Of Me", which just won an International award in March of 2006 at the "North American Country Music Association International" awards show.
Cory also won top honors for his songwriting for the Gospel song, "Foot of the Mountain", which will be on his next cd. Cory is in the studio now recording his second cd, which will be all Gospel songs,
written by Cory and his songwriting partner, Steve Ballew.
Cory is "Georgia Country & Gospel Music Association's" Male Entertainer of the Year. He competed at NACMAI in March 2007 and took home "Male Entertainer and Male Vocalist of the Year"
Cory has performed at some great events including "Rock City Gardens" & "Dollywood".
Cory's 2006-2008 tour has taken him all across the Southeastern States.
