About me: Hi, I'm Cory. I started Cory Surfboards over 15 years ago and thoroughly enjoy making surfboards.
I have had the pleasure of working alongside great shapers like Maurice Cole, JS, Chilli and D'arcy. I am honoured to have worked with a number of amazing next generation including Lee Stacey, Dylan Longbottom, Simmo, Nick Blair, James Tuck, and M@ Abbott.
I work closely with my team riders to develop the best surfboards to take their surfing to the nexy level.

puerto is a pretty rad place. kinda like bali but less people and less shit on land. so fucked up hot. water is like 29.
surfed mex pipe everyday so far. havent ventured anywhere else. its pretty much a fast closeout. its been small by puertos standards, its been hovering around 4ft. still been getting flogged but. rode blue stripes a bit. been feeling heaps drivey doing turns in the lefts and feels good in the barrel. maccas stripes got me a shot this morning. pretty cool barrel shot on a right.
its allll good but. no real feedback yet havent surfed winki haha.
we didnt get too stung excess on the way here. got delayed 5hours in sydney. missed our lax connection. got another flight to mex city. only had to pay 65us excess. mex city was an intersting night. one of wylies mates picked us up and we stayed at his joint on the other side of the city. the drive back to the airport the next day was interesting. heavy traffic and shit.
fucked up polluted. not too keen to go there again.
mexicana airlines tried to smoke us excess for our flight to puerto. wanted us to pay 75 us per board. it was a fucked situation we had no idea what they were saying and shit, luckily the guy we stayed with was still around and he spoke to them for ages in heated spanish and managed to get our price down to 150us each.
so for 3 flights to only pay 215us isnt too bad. kept the recipts for the flight home so we will see how we go.

hey mate, fractured my arm the other day,couldnt go to the canaries FUCK IT!!! pretty devo, doc said it will be sweet in about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks, fingers crossed ill make it to the exel at sunset, im going still even if its still sore. pretty pissed off, hows the boys boards going? hope they turned out good. speak soon
sick mate thats cool yea surfing a bit but mainly trying to get fit so i can give it a good go next yr so ye back on boydys boards so good to be home haha
hey mate any chance of my next boards being made from the 3 ply stringered blanks?? i think theyre better, rode the old yellow flame board in my heat, still going amazing, its a 3 ply.
