I am so privileged to have played with some outstanding musicians and I want to thank them for their part in making Surrendered a very special adventure for me, and a success. Everyone of you are a dear treasure! May God bring many, many blessings upon you.
I also want to thank my Brother-in-law, Danny Ybarra, for all the time and effort put in to produce the project. Kudos Danny! And, a thanks to all my friends and genuine supporters out there who helped me believe in God's gifts in me. I'm honored!
Influences
My greatest influence is Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God. (Matthew 16:16)
The love of my life, my husband, Bob, who fearlessly leads me into uncharted territory.
In the beginning, when I was about 6 years old, music got my attention. I know I'm dating myself here but ... do any of you who lived through the '60s remember the hootenanies with the New Christie Minstrels, Simon and Garfunkle when they were called Tom and Jerry, Joan Baez, Buffy St. Marie, the and Smothers Brothers? Just to name a few. Well that musical variety show started it all. Of course you understand that at the time, being only 6 years old I had no idea that this show was extremely controversial, politcally speaking. All I know is that there came some great music from that Saturday night show and I was never the same. I ran up and down the hallway singing folk tunes like John Henry and If I had a Hammer.
Today I look back and have a keen sense that my musical history rests on that introduction to harmony and rhyme. Since then some really great musicians have inspired me. The list would be way to long to put down here. If you really want to know send me a message and we'll chat. :)
Christian artists that have inspired me include: Duane and Terry Clark, Bob Bennett, Chris Falson, Paul Baloche, Lisa Wickham, Kim Hill, and Mary Barrett for various reasons. Mostly because each one has a unique and intimate way of putting lyric to melody and a passion to worship and lead others into the presence of the Lord.
Special thanx to my Junior Hi vocal teacher, Edwin Grace who taught me the joy of singing and making music with others.
I love all great music, from bluegrass to the blues. Jazz to Opra, Gregorian Chant and Chamber music. From gospel, pop, folk and barbar shop to country and alternative. Oh and don't forget the Classical greats!
Sounds Like
Cosima. No, not that other Cosima in Australia! Boy can she sing, wow!
My daughter Angela made this page for me. Thanks kid, you Rock! I trust that all you who visit here are blessed in the Lord.
My name is Cosima and I live in the Riverside county area of Southern California. Living here is great... well, most of the time unless it's 110 degrees. Ugh!
I love Jesus and I love to sing to and for Him and I've played the guitar since I was 8. I have 2 grown daughters and a wonderful husband, Bob, who happens to be the pastor of my church, Calvary Chapel Perris Valley, where I lead worship.
I also enjoy horses, birds and most other warm fuzzy creatures. I like the big giant (whales etc.) wet ones too, but, they are to big to cuddle with.
I also enjoy traveling and will go anywhere my Jesus will send me. I've sang for Jesus in China and Japan and Mexico. England and Wales were cool and oh yes, France is on the top of my list of really relaxing vacation spots.
Email Me a note sometime for more info or if you ever need a guest worship leader for special services and women's events.
Thank you so much for adding us to your MySpace friends.
I was actually in Perris a few years ago, and preached a few services at a little Church there on Highway 74 called Bible Tabernacle Fellowship.
The time is right for a worldwide endtime revival. Of course there is somewhat of a revival ongoing, but I believe it is going to grow much stronger as we draw nearer and nearer to the coming of the Lord.... There will be persecution, and with it will come miracles and great exploits in the Spirit for those of us who truly know the Lord.
Your love for the Lord Jesus Christ and your diligent desire to know Him in truth will hold you through these times, combined with the pure voice and talent He has given you. If you will continue to pour yourself out before Him, He will pour of Himself into you. The Lord only needs for us to be who He has called and enabled us to be....
I pray God bless you, your dear husband/Pastor, your loved ones, your Church family, and make you a horn of blessing and anointing to everyone you meet. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and all things will work to your good, whether they seem pleasant at the time or not. Have faith, be strong, be joyful, sing in the presence of the Lord, be blessed and strengthened always, in the name of Jesus Christ! AMEN.
Beautiful music and voice!! Thanks for the add. We were just in your area doing some work with MusiCalifornia and then working with Mariner's Church! We're heading out to the Scott's Valley area for the Christian Songwriter's Conference at Mt Hermon at the end of August. Do you ever go to any of these types of conferences?

You might be wondering why we are giving our music away for FREE and encouraging you to copy it and share it with others. When Jesus sent out His disciples to minister to people, He explained that they should do it all without expecting anything in return (Matthew 10:8-10). Our hearts desire is to serve and minister to you so that the name of Christ will be lifted up. May the Lord bless you, protect you and give you peace.

Dear Cosima HI =)! Thanks for the friends req...Beautiful...thanks for sharing with me! God bless you richly with His great love for you! love,Brandi...Ephesians5:1-2..."LOOK UP!" =)
MY lifes wish and prayer for you my friend....
For those looking for their New Years miracle.............................................. I'm sharing this picture and story in hopes that those who suffer, grieve, who are having a hard time in this beautiful, but all be it ...broken life or who are lonely and alone, will find the love, comfort and healing they need....YOU ARE NOT ALONE AND YOU ARE LOVED!!! =) This picture was taken of me at my Levitt Pavillion concert......I was singing and sharing my life’s story...As I was it was touching the peoples hearts in the audience....as usual, as I did I was also talking to Father God in my heart...You see life can be very hard at times and people and circumstances can be very cruel....ie. lie, steal, cheat, use you, bear false witness and abandon you, run their cars into you, have envy and strife, play politics with your life, break their promises to you, broken hearts, sickness, hunger, poverty etc.....all this by the way makes Abba cry and is not what He wants for our lives...Anyway...as I cried out to Him for help for me and the deep trials I was facing and for the people He said to me......... "Brandi I love you! I am here for you! I see everything all the injustice, politics, betrayal , brokenness...everything! I've got your back covered! " Then, He said to me, "Look up!" I said " Look up? " He said "Yes, look up!" So, I did and I gave Him thanks and told Him I loved Him.....At that same time this picture was taken of me from the audience....When the photos were developed the ORB WITH THE EYE IN IT WAS ABOVE ME! COOL HUGH! =)...How often do we get to see in the natural what is always there in the Spiritual... ......For those of us looking to a loving Fathe
