About me:
Donate now to COSI Toledo
through the Toledo Community Foundation
At this time of great uncertainty, the entire COSI Toledo team would like to extend a sincere thank you to the extraordinary community that we have been fortunate to call home for the last 10 years. During that time, over 3 million children and their families have witnessed astonishing demonstrations, explored hundreds of interactive exhibits, been part of record-breaking events and been inspired to learn about science.
However, effective December 31, 2007, COSI Toledo will be closing to the public, unless an additional funding source becomes available in the immediate future.
We have been receiving calls asking how people can help us. There are a few things that you can do:
The first way is to visit. Bring your family and friends and share in the experiences that have made COSI Toledo the exciting place that it is, before we close to the public.
The next way is to write a letter and tell someone how you feel about COSI closing. Write to our mayor, city council, county commissioners, state senators or even the governor of Ohio. Every letter makes a difference.
The third and final way to help is to make a donation. Every penny donated enables us to bring science education and fun to our community as long as we possibly can.

However you show your support, please know that every word of encouragement is heard loud and clear and that we are grateful for your enthusiasm and determination in wanting COSI to remain a viable destination on the downtown Toledo riverfront. We want nothing more than to continue doing what we do best; inspiring children and engaging families in science exploration.
